The science
The science behind NeutraOat
NeutraOat captures hydrophobic environmental contaminants in the gut and leaves normal digestion and nutrient absorption alone. Here's how it's made and how it works.
Micro-porous engineering
We start with food-grade oat β-glucan, homogenize it, and flash-dry it under controlled freezing. This ice-templating leaves hundreds of nano- to micron-scale tunnels inside each particle, raising the internal surface area to roughly a tennis court per gram.

Hydrophobic surface tuning
We coat the pore walls with a thin layer of plant oils. That makes the inside of each tunnel hydrophobic, so it attracts oily, ring-shaped pollutants but not water-soluble vitamins. It works like a Velcro lining that grips fat-loving toxins and ignores nutrients.

Selective molecular capture
In the gut, the pores act as a size-and-affinity filter. Binding comes from hydrophobic interactions and Van der Waals forces inside the oil-lined tunnels; molecules that are larger or strongly water-soluble don't fit or stick.
Binds:
- BPA and other plasticizers
- Long-chain PFAS
- Some pesticide and mycotoxin residues
Passes through:
- Vitamins and minerals
- Most dietary fats and proteins
- Prescription medications*

Breaking the recirculation loop
Many of these toxins don't simply leave the body. The liver clears them from the blood into bile, the bile empties into the gut, and the gut reabsorbs them back into the blood — a cycle called enterohepatic recirculation that can keep the same molecules in you for years. NeutraOat binds them during the gut phase of that loop, so they're carried out instead of reabsorbed. That's how it lowers what's already in your blood, not only what you take in next.

Transit and elimination
Human enzymes can't break down β-glucan's modified backbone, so NeutraOat passes through the whole GI tract intact. It holds the pollutants in its pores and leaves the body during normal digestion — no absorption into the bloodstream, no synthetic residue.
