Everyone carries PFAS and plasticizers. NeutraOat is built to capture them.

A selective oat-fiber binder that removes PFAS, BPA, and phthalates from your gut and your blood by preventing reabsorption. Reserve a bottle from the first commercial batch with a refundable $20 deposit.

02 problem

They don't just pass through you.

PFAS, BPA, and phthalates turn up in the blood and urine of nearly everyone tested. You take them in from water, food packaging, and household dust, day after day.

Your liver clears some of what you absorb into the gut with bile, but the gut reabsorbs a share of it, so these compounds recirculate instead of leaving. PFAS are the worst case: they resist breaking down and can stay in your body for years. Until now there was little you could take at home to interrupt that cycle.

03 product

A selective oat binder.

NeutraOat starts from purified oat fiber, called β-glucan, modified with water-repelling pockets shaped to grab PFAS, BPA, and phthalates. It is food-grade and taken by mouth.

You can't get the same effect from eating oats. The binding pockets are added in an enzyme step that plain oats don't have.

04 mechanism

It works in the gut, where the cycle happens.

Taken before meals, NeutraOat moves through your gut and captures PFAS, BPA, and phthalates as they recirculate, then carries them out instead of letting them be reabsorbed.

It is built to be selective, holding onto those contaminants while leaving vitamins and medications largely alone. In a simulated digestive tract it captured all three. Pesticides and herbicides are still being tested.

05 selective

Not just a better charcoal.

Most binders are indiscriminate: charcoal grabs almost everything, nutrients and medications included. NeutraOat is built the other way. It is oat fiber with water-repelling pockets sized for small contaminants, not the larger structures that carry your vitamins.

Activated charcoal

a broad-spectrum sponge

binds
Almost anything, target or not.
vitamins & nutrients
Strips them along with the rest.
medications
Binds them too; dose hours apart.
access
Over the counter.
Cholestyramine

a prescription bile-acid binder

binds
Bile acids broadly; PFAS along the way.
vitamins & nutrients
Lowers fat-soluble vitamins over time.
medications
Interferes with many; dose separately.
access
Prescription only.
NeutraOat

a selective oat-fiber binder

binds
Pockets sized for small PFAS, BPA, and phthalates.
vitamins & nutrients
Designed to pass over the structures that carry them.
medications
Not proven yet; take a few hours apart.
access
Food-grade, no prescription.

NeutraOat isn't a stronger sponge, it's a more selective one. We're still confirming how selective, so take it a few hours apart from any medications or supplements.

06 evidence

Why we think it works.

The mechanism is established. Cholestyramine, a prescription bile-acid binder that works the same way in the gut, lowered PFOS by about 60% in a published 2024 trial. NeutraOat does the same job in food-grade form, at a lower dose, and is built to be more selective about what it binds.

In-vitro capture chart NeutraOat captured 75 percent of BPA versus 60 percent for activated charcoal, 99 percent of DEHP versus 95 percent, and 30 percent of PFOA versus 20 percent for cholestyramine. 1007550250 756099953020 BPA vs charcoal DEHP vs charcoal PFOA vs cholestyramine NeutraOat comparator
fig. 1 — in-vitro capture · FaSSIF · single pass · % captured

In a simulated digestive tract, NeutraOat captured 75% of BPA and 99% of DEHP, a common phthalate, ahead of activated charcoal, and 30% of PFOA in a single pass against 20% for cholestyramine. Single-pass capture understates the effect: because PFAS recirculate continuously, repeated binding compounds over time, which is how cholestyramine reached its 60% drop in people.

07 dosage

Twice a day, before meals.

NeutraOat is a powder. Take 2 g before breakfast and 2 g before dinner during the active phase, 4 g a day, then drop to 2 g a day for maintenance.

It looks and tastes like mild oat fiber and mixes into water, yogurt, oatmeal, or whatever you already have.

If you take medications or supplements, keep them a few hours apart from your NeutraOat dose while we finish confirming how selective it is.

Reserving holds you a bottle from the first commercial run. It also helps fund that run and signals that demand for this exists. For a small independent project, both matter.

09 maker

An independent project, built around the science.

NeutraOat is made by Grain Laboratories, a small independent company based in Boston, and manufactured in Alberta, Canada.

A human pilot in PFAS-exposed adults is underway now, with results expected later in 2026. We will publish what we find, including results that aren't flattering.

10 scope

What this is and isn't.

what it is

  • A food-grade oat-fiber product designed to capture PFAS, BPA, and phthalates in the gut.
  • Backed by a clear mechanism, in-vitro capture data, and a clinical precedent in cholestyramine.
  • Selective by design, made to be far gentler than a bulk binder like activated charcoal.
  • Tested clean for glyphosate, mycotoxins, and gluten, with certificates of analysis on request.

what it isn't

  • Not a drug, and not approved by the FDA to treat or prevent any disease.
  • Not a detox cure-all or a one-time cleanse.
  • Not yet proven in a finished human trial of NeutraOat itself. The pilot is still underway.
  • We won't promise a specific number for how far it will lower your levels.
